Ross Perot to Help Texarkana College

Former Texarkana resident,  billionaire Ross Perot is coming to the aid of the financially ailing  Texarkana College. Perot is expected to donate an undisclosed amount to the college but at the same time challenge the community to step up to the plate to fix the problems at the local education institution.

Perot will likely call on local business leaders, industry and common everyday folks to join the effort.  He will be in town this Thursday at the TC Tomorrow Community Challenge Event which starts at 1pm at the Texarkana College Lawn at Robison Road and Campus Drive.

Public school students will showcase 10,000 tomorrow, which are pennants decorated by the kids to feature their visions for brighter tomorrows.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend the event.
