Its voting day in Texarkana. No not at the polls, that is coming up later this Spring. The voting occurring today is at the local union hall of the USWA 752L. That is the union that represents most of the workers at the Texarkana Cooper Tire Plant

Union workers at the Cooper Tire and Rubber Company Plant in Texarkana are being briefed on the details of the tentative contract hammered out by negotiators last week. The workers will study the proposal today and vote tomorrow as to whether to ratify or reject the agreement with the tire maker

Texarkana Arkansas Police along with the FBI are looking for two suspects who held up a bank yesterday afternoon. Authorities responded to the Wells Fargo Bank on Hickory Street around 2:30 pm. Witnesses told them that two black male suspects entered the bank brandishing handguns
