A shooting incident in Texarkana, Texas has sent two people to the hospital. Texas side police say they were called to the 3100 block of Meadows Drive in reference to a shooting. Police say they stopped a vehicle leaving the scene and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chin.
While at the hospital investigators say another man showed up from the same location with a gunshot wound to the hand. Authorities are seeking another man who is said to have been the shooter in both cases.

Arkansas voters have decided to renew a 575 million dollar bond issue which will fund repairs and improvements to over 400 miles of Interstate roadways in the state.
In Texas, voters have approved 7 out of 10 constitutional amendments in the vote yesterday.

Penn State Football Coach Joe Paterno has decided to retire at the end of this season. The 84 year old coach says he is " absolutely devestated" by the developments in the case of Jerry Sandusky, the former defensive coordinator who is accused of molesting at least 8 boys over a 15 year period.
