Have You Lied About Being Sick to Skip Work or School?

It seems a slim majority of us have played hooky at one time or another, skipping out on work or school but do you know how much that compares to other countries around the world?

According to an article on CBSNews.com, 52% of US workers have called in sick when they were not. Compare that to 62% in India, 58% in Australia, 52% in Canada, 43% in Great Britain, and 38% in Mexico. Click here for the full article.

According to figures released of a recent survey of 5000 workers by theFIT, 84% actually were ill or at least taking care of a sick child when they last called in to the boss.
