The Texas Department of Public Safety says a 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender has been captured.

Authorities say 40 year old Christopher Michael Dominguez was captured in Houston.

Working off investigative information, members of the Montgomery County Violent Crimes Task Force, along with the Texas Attorney General’s Office, apprehended convicted sex offender Dominguez at a hotel in north Houston. DPS Special Agents provided assistance in the capture.

Dominguez had been wanted in Harris County for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and in Montgomery County for aggravated sexual assault of a child. For more information, see his captured bulletin.

So far in 2018, DPS and other agencies have arrested 15 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including eight sex offenders and seven gang members.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
