This warning means it is likely that precipitation will tonight transition from rain to a mix of ice and perhaps snow for some of the four state's region, including Texarkana, as arctic air moves in and temperatures fall below freezing.

  • Sunday -- Rain likely, mainly afternoon. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Northeast wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
  • Sunday night - Rain and sleet before midnight, then freezing rain and sleet. Low around 28. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New ice accumulation of around a 0.1 of an inch possible. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Monday - Snow and sleet, becoming all snow after noon. High near 28. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
  • Monday Night - A 40 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 24. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
