Today America settles the long battle for the White House between current President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. The national polls are very tight, whereas state-by-state polling seems to suggest another four years for Obama.

But perhaps the most accurate way to determine who will win a presidential election is to ask voters who they think is going to win, rather than who they will be pulling the lever for.

On that front, it's also advantage: president. The Pew Research Center surveyed 3,151 registered voters who was most likely to win the election, and 52 percent answered Barack Obama. Thirty percent expect Mitt Romney to win, and 18 percent just don't know.
