UACCH Nursing Students to Celebrate New Birthing Simulation Lab

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope Nursing Program is inviting the public to attend a "baby shower" for the nursing program's new birthing simulation laboratory.'Noelle and baby Hal" will be on display for the public on May 7th from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30. These educational manikins will allow UACCH instructors to reenact labor/delivery/pediatrics/postpartum clinical simulations, providing students with hands-on experience for various patient diagnosis.

Funding for this purchase was provided by grants awards of $33,000 Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas and a $30,000 grant from the Carl D. Perkins Foundations.
