President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site and The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana will offer a Junior Ranger Explorer Summer Camp July 30th – August 1st.

The Junior Ranger Explorer Camp connects participants to their national parks through many hands-on, guided activities. The camp is open to all area students 10 – 13 years of age and registration and participation are FREE.

Students will travel to Hot Springs National Park, President Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site, Central High School National Historic Site and the Clinton Presidential Center and Museum in Little Rock.

Monday and Thursday are half days starting at 1:00 p.m. and the field trip travel days (Tuesday and Wednesday) start promptly at 9:00 a.m. The camp’s graduation will take place Thursday August 2nd at 5:00 pm.

Students will be dropped off and picked up from the Industrial Building on the UAHT Hope Campus.

REGISTRATION is limited to the first 35 participants to register. Registration is first come first serve and will continue until all spaces are filled. Registration forms are available at the UACCH website and the National Park Service website.
