Texarkana, Texas to Hold Open House/Public Meeting

The City of Texarkana Texas, Planning and Community Development Department will hold an open house/public meeting to discuss its EPA Brownfields Grants.City officials will also discuss cleanup of 203/205 Broad, encourage public input for redevelopment at that site, and update the public on the status of each Brownfields Grant, as well as offer information on funding streams available.

The open house/public meeting will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4:30-6:30PM on the second floor of Texarkana Texas City Hall in the Council Chambers.

The public is invited to attend.  The City encourages all interested parties to share its redevelopment ideas for 203/205 W. Broad as well as other vacant, distressed properties in Texarkana. Public input is vital to the success of these efforts.

This is all part of the continued effort to improve and revitalize historic downtown Texarkana.
