The Texarkana, Texas City Council meets for the final time in the month of April at 6 p.m. tonight at City Hall.Two of the agenda items include public hearings. One will concern obtaining the funds to complete the extension of Gibson Lane west from Pleasant Grove Road to Kings Highway.

The second public hearing will concern making expenditure changes not to exceed $300,000 for the demolition of the old Kress Building on West Broad Street in downtown Texarkana.
