Texarkana Police Searching for Armed Bank Robber

Texarkana, Arkansas Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a State Line Avenue bank at gunpoint this Monday morning.

Officers were called to the BancorpSouth bank in the 2200 block of State Line around 9:30 this morning.  The suspect was described as a black male believed to be in his 30s. around 5'9" tall with a medium build.

Employees say he was wearing dark clothing, possibly all black, with a ski mask, gloves, and a hoodie. The suspect was armed with a chrome handgun and fled the bank on foot.

Detectives with the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department are continuing to investigate this crime. No injuries were reported.
