Texarkana Parks and Rec Releases ‘Movies in the Park’ Schedule for Summer

The Texarkana Texas Parks and Recreations department has released its upcoming "Movies in the Park" schedule for this summer.

May 21st Big Hero 6

May 28th Paddington

June 4th Alexander and the Terrible Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

June 11th Annie.

For folks who have never been to a movies in the park they start between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and are shown in the field across from the old airplane. The movies are shown free of charge and they want to promote a family-friendly atmosphere.

Make sure to bring blankets and chairs for you to sit on and you are allowed to bring food and drinks as well. Concessions will be available. Remember no alcohol or smoking is allowed.
