Texarkana Arkansas City Board Meets Tonight to Discuss City Manager

The Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Directors meets tonight at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.The public is invited to attend the open portion of tonight's  meeting. There will also be a closed executive session as well.

Among other agenda items, the board will take up the issue of whether to approve former City Manager Harold Boldt's contract for re-hire, or whether to delay that action awaiting auditing results.

There will also be a discussion concerning the City Manager form of government. Also approval of several community events including this years Downtown Christmas parade are also on the agenda.
