The Texarkana, Ark., City Board of Directors will consider an ordinance and set a date for a special election.

The election is in connection with some citizens' efforts to repeal an anti-discrimination ordinance passed earlier this year by the City Board. Residents against the measure have turned in a signature petition, which calls for a city wide vote on the ordinance.
