Texarkana Area Veterans Council Benefit Chili Cookoff

The Texarkana Area Veterans Council is holding their 19th Annual Veterans Benefit Chili Cook-Off.

The event is this Friday February 16 from 11AM to 1PM at the Truman Arnold Center at Texarkana College. You are invited to come taste some of the wildest, tangiest, and most outlandish chili concoctions in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas.

You can taste them all and cast your vote for your favorite. It's just $6 admission that allows you taste all the different kinds of chili and possibly win door prizes.

All proceeds will benefit the Texarkana Area Veterans Council, and are used to assist local veterans and buy a van when needed.

Enjoy some great chili and help out a great cause at the same time. The Texarkana Area Veterans Council includes the American Legion Post 25-58, Disabled American Veterans #222, Korean War Veterans Association #221, Marine Corps League #1149, Veterans of Foreign Wars #4562, and Vietnam Veterans of America #278.
