Hurricane Sandy

Nature straight up does not care that we are nowhere near recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. Winter Storm Athena is on her way to kick us square in the jollies.

As predicted, Hurricane Sandy created one crazy night. Millions without power, explosions, flooding and at least 18 people dead. Don't let your braggedy friends on Facebook convince you this wasn't a big deal. It was crazy. Here are some pics to sum up what happened. Feel free to share your photos in the comments.

Although New York and New Jersey were dealt a striking blow thanks to "Frankenstorm" Sandy, one of the best ways to entertain yourself while the power's out and to find solace in this horrible natural disaster is through the use of music. Superstorm Sandy has caused a lot of damage. People have died, homes have been destroyed, businesses have been ruined. Americans across the country are reaching out by donating money, time, food, and clothing, but they're also reaching out with message of hope in the blog NOLA To New York.

Hey, thanks Sandy! As if people didn't hate taking the bus enough, now we get to wait in a line to wait in line to ride one. That's right -- the lines have lines. It's taking people multiple hours to get to and from work. Good thing it's not miserable outside. Just kidding, it totally is! Here are some pics of what people are doing just to get to work.

While many people took to Facebook bragging about how much booze they stockpiled and how Hurricane Sandy wasn't very strong at all, the following heartbreaking scenes were happening in other places. Don't always believe everything Facebook tells you. If it was all true, do you have any idea how many dollars would've been donated to charity for liking that picture of a kitten?
