There is a new policy that goes into effect tomorrow for TISD students. All personal cell phones or other electronic devices will no longer have access to the 'Student-net WiFi'.

TISD has always been at the forefront of technology, but with the number of laptops. chromebooks, iPads and more technology in the classroom the demand of maintaining the bandwidth for these devices is the reason for the change in policy.

Parents are encouraged to see the cell phone policies in the student code of conduct in the student handbook. This information will be provided to students in their first-day packet and of course, your student's information and the parents signature is required.

Tina Veal-Gooch says that:

We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we maximize our technology resources to provide outstanding technology instructional integration for our students.
