Red River Army Depot Slowly Re Hiring Laid Off Workers
After laying off 900 workers the Red River Army Depot is slowly hiring those workers back.
Those 900 workers that were laid off last year are being rehired in small groups between 12 and 50. The Red River Army Depot public affairs department said that there are open positions available for those laid-off employees or those looking for work. The office had this to say about the rehiring process.
"The current workforce at Red River is stabilized. Our workforce-to-workload ratio does not require any major adjustments. Though we are not hiring a mass number of employees, job opportunities are open by visiting www.usajobs.gov."
