No Adoption Fee at Animal Shelter in Texarkana

The Animal Care and Adoption Center is holding a special adoption event all through the month of September for those that are 55 years of age or older. No adoption fee for seniors in September.

There are approximately 75 dogs on the adoption floor and around 40 cats or kittens in the cat room. The normal adoption fees that are paid to the shelter will be waived during the month of September for Seniors which leaves only the spay and neuter costs for the adopter to pay. Those costs vary between $76 to $104 depending on the size and sex of the animal. If the animal is already spayed or neutered no fee will be necessary to adopt.

If you adopt one of the dogs that has been featured on Power 95-9 Provide a Pet a Pad, you will also receive FREE wellness package from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital valued at $80 that can be used to get your new dog started on the right track.
