The Agent Barry Live United Bowl is to be played in Texarkana in early December.

With three weeks left in the regular season of Division II College Football, trying to figure out who is going to be playing in the game, is fuzzy to say the least.

The host team comes from the Great American Conference, which consists of teams from Arkansas and Oklahoma. The bowl automatically selects the highest conference seed that does not go to the national playoff.

Currently four teams are tied for first place in the GAC. They are, Arkansas Tech, Ouachita, Southeastern Oklahoma State, and Southern Arkansas University. Two other teams are one game behind, Arkansas-Monticello and Harding. Henderson State stands two back with three to play.

The visiting team comes from either the Lone Star Conference or the MIAA Conference. Currently in the Lone Star Conference, Midwestern State leads followed by Eastern New Mexico, and Texas A&M-Commerce. Fort Hays State and Northwest Missouri lead the standings in the MIAA , followed by Central Missouri.

So, as you can see with three weeks left before bowl decision time, there are plenty of teams in the running. The one thing we do know is the game will be exciting and remember all proceeds benefit the United Way of Greater Texarkana.

This year's entertainment at halftime will include the Robert St. John Band, The Honorary Captain for the game will be former Arkansas High Razorback and Denver Bronco wide receiver Rod Smith. Smith will also speak at the team banquet the night before the big game.

There also will be drawings for a total of $5,000, which will awarded to some lucky fans, who are attendance that Saturday December 2.

Tickets are just $10 for adults and $4 for students and kids.
