The Texarkana Airport Authority is receiving nearly a half million dollar grant. The funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation will pay for an environmental asessment that is required before construction can begin on a new airport terminal project.

A Waldo Arkansas man has entered a not guilty plea to a capital murder charge afer authorities say he killed a woman at the south Arkansas post office last month. Prosecutors have yet to say whether they will seek the death penalty against 30 year old William Blackmon.

The vice mayor of Hope , Arkansas is facing a misdemeanor theft charge after authorites say he took money from a woman at a restaurant. David Johnson is set to appear in court in October.
