The high school baseball playoff regional final for Pleasant Grove has been postponed due to rain. The Maud Regional Final is being moved because of  field conditions

Pleasant Grove was to take on Argyle in Pittsburgh this evening in game one of a best of three. However, due to wet conditions and more rain in the forecast that game has been cancelled.

Pleasant Grove officials tell us that the region final will now be a one game playoff. That game will be played at McKinney Boyd starting at 4PM on Saturday. If the Hawks can beat Argyle in that game, then they will head to Austin next week to compete in the state tournament.

Also, game one of the best of three region finals between Maud and Beckville that was scheduled for tonight in Mt. Pleasant has been moved because of the rain. Game one of that series is being played tonight in West Monroe, Louisiana starting at 7:30PM.

Continued good luck to both Pleasant Grove and Maud in the playoffs.
