Final Pleasant Grove Public Meeting on Bond Issue

A final public community meeting on a proposed bond issue for Pleasant Grove Independent School District is tonight (Monday night).The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at the high school. That location is 5401 McKnight Road. The purpose of the meeting is to inform and gather opinions concerning a proposed May bond election.

The school board would like residents to pass the bond issue, which would go towards the construction of a brand new elementary campus. The current building at Richmond and Pleasant Grove Road was originally constructed in the 1950's and has been renovated several times.
