Good news at Arkansas High School.

The Texarkana Arkansas Career and Technological Center's Graphic Communications class has been awarded PrintED accreditation in the following areas: Introduction to Graphic Communications, Advertising Design, Bindery & Finishing, and Digital File Preparation.

PrintED, administered by the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF®), is a national accreditation program, based on industry standards, appropriate for secondary and post-secondary schools offering graphic communications curricula.

“This accreditation means so much to the Career and Technological Graphics program,” said instructor Carla Lancaster. “It positions our students for better job opportunities upon completion of the program.” The Texarkana Arkansas School District’s Career and Technological Center is one of three centers in the state to receive accreditation.
