Classic Car Cruise Night and Homemade Ice Cream Contest June 12

Do you like ice cream? Well, get ready for the second annual Family-Friendly Classic Car Cruise Night and Homemade Ice Cream Contest, which is slated for Friday, June 12, in Atlanta, Texas.Stop by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to enter the contest in the following categories: fresh fruit, chocolate or vanilla variety and specialty flavors. This contest is open to individuals or teams of commercial and non-commercial. A four quart or larger ice cream machine is recommended for this contest but not required.

A one pint container must be prepared separately for the judges. Yeah, now we're talking! All Ice cream must be made in advance and arrive already frozen. The Ice cream contest is free to enter.

The chamber of commerce will provide tables and chairs for the contestants to serve the general public. The chamber will also sell sample cups of ice cream as a local fundraiser. Individual and team awards will be handed out for each flavor category as well as an overall People's Choice Award.
