Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson brought good news to the Arkansas side school district on Wednesday.

The Governor was at a ceremony at Arkansas High School to announce that the school district was receiving a grant totaling almost $14.8 million from the federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program, from the U.S. Department of Education.

The money will be used over a 5 year time frame, in conjunction with the STEM Program that runs through the various campus levels in the district.

The grant, which is one of the biggest of over 30 given across the country, will continue to help the district and its students become the best they can be.
