The group is now accepting applications for basic training.Anyone interested in becoming a Master Gardener may apply to be accepted into the training program offered by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture. This program includes training on lawn care; ornamental trees and shrubs; fire ant and other insects; disease and weed management; soils and plant nutrition; vegetable and flower gardening; home fruit production; irrigation and much more.

Deadline to apply for acceptance into the Master Gardener Program is September 20th. Classes this year will be held in October. To apply you can go by the office at 4000 Laurel Street, Suite 215, or call (870) 779-3609.
