Who would ever want a flying ATV? I think... WE ALL WOULD! Check out the Parajet SkyRunner and prepare to want one.

This thing looks awesome! Part all-terrain dune buggy and part light sport aircraft, the Parajet SkyRunner is a flying ATV. On the ground you can go just about anywhere, and go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds, with a top speed of 115 miles per hour. The 1.0 liter engine produces 125 horses, and gets 56 miles per gallon of fuel.

When you set the modified chute behind the flying dune buggy and you engage the propeller, at 35 miles per hour you get lift-off. When airborne, the craft will do about 55 miles per hour, and has a cruise range of 200 nautical miles. The SkyRunner is classified as a light sport aircraft, so you do have to get certified to fly it, but that only means a one week training course and 12 hours of flight time. So, you may be thinking about safety. If say the engine shut off in mid-flight an emergency parachute deploys and you float safely to the ground. This is more than just a toy, with a $120,000 price tag, you could buy a sports car that is fast, but will it fly?
