A Four States Area talent will be in Texarkana today to talk and perform for Texas High orchestra students. Rose will be with the Texarkana Orchestra as the featured soloist this Saturday, October 15.

Marcus Rose, who was born in California but raised in Shreveport, will be at the high school today at 3PM.

He began studying with Borys Smolaga, Principal Violist of Shreveport Symphony, at the age of 13. Since the peak of his relationship with viola, Rose has enjoyed enriching opportunities in the classical music world.

He has had major orchestra appearances with Symphonies in California, Louisiana, and Texarkana. He debuted at the age of 16 with the Texarkana Symphony.
