Looking For Tiger Mentors

The Texarkana, Texas Independent School District is looking for Tiger Mentors.As part of the Kids At Hope Program, Tiger Mentors are needed for the Texas Middle School, Texas High School, and Options Academic Alternative High School. Students can benefit from one on one relationships with an adult  other than their teachers.

Mentors can provide consistent caring, support, guidance and help as students go though various challenging periods in their development.

Requirements to become a Tiger Mentor are:

Commit to participate in the program for a least one school year and meet once a month

Attend a one hour mentor training program.

Attend mixer activities.

Submit an application.

Conduct all meetings on school grounds.
