The Confederate Memorial, located at 5th and State Line Avenue, it commemorates Confederate soldiers and their mothers. Erected in 1918, the monument was the brain child of C.S.A. veteran Capt. James T. Rosborough. The figures were carved in Italy and imported during World War I, while the base and canopy were built by Allen Monuments in Texarkana.
