The Regional Arts Center opened in 1911 as the first Federal District Courthouse in Texarkana. When the District Court moved to Sherman in 1931, the building was donated to Bowie County and it became the Bowie County Courthouse in 1933. Since 1985, TRAHC has called the building home.
