Financial Aid Workshop at Texas High

A free financial aid workshop for high school students is planned for later this month at Texas High School.Financing college can be a challenge for today’s parents. However, in an effort to assist in easing the financial burden, the Texas High School College & Career Readiness Department will host a free hands-on Financial Aid Preparation Workshop for all area senior students and their parents/guardians on Monday, February 23. The event will be come and go from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the THS Math & Science Center, Room 219 at 4001 Summerhill Road.

Financial Aid representatives will guide parents through the step-by-step process to register for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Parents should plan on bringing their most recent W2 Form and 1040 Tax Return.
