Cigars, ‘Tinis and Tunes to Benefit Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter April 20
Mark your calendar for Cigars, ‘Tinis and Tunes on Thursday, April 20, at Hopkins Icehouse in downtown Texarkana at 7PM. This is one of the largest fundraising events of the year to benefit the Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter.
There will be plenty of great food, specialty martinis, a silent auction and live entertainment from 2Pianos. Individual tickets are $50 per person and are available at the Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter, St. James Episcopal Church or at John Delk Attorney at Law. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the event.
Several sponsorship packages are still available for purchase as well.
The Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter has increased its capacity to 125 people and the dollars raised from this event are more vital than they’ve ever been, said Jennifer Laurent, executive director.
“This is a fun party we look forward to each year. And we have set a goal of $30,000 this year and really feel with the help of our community we will get there,” she said.
Money raised from this event will go toward the shelter’s mission of meeting the immediate needs of the homeless and less fortunate in our community by providing safe temporary lodging and food until they are able to provide for themselves and get back on their feet.
