Arkansas High School Students to Attend Governor’s School
Two Texarkana Arkansas High School students are set to attend the Governor's school.
This year, two students from Arkansas High School have been selected to attend the 2014 Arkansas Governor’s School hosted at Hendrix College.
Those selected to attend are Jon Pardue, AHS junior with a Natural Science discipline and McKenzie Matthews, AHS junior with a Math discipline.
Selection for Governor’s School is based on a combination of ability and interest and is highly competitive. The six-week intensive program is in its thirty-fifth year.
