A&M-Texarkana to Host Freshman Meet-And-Greet Events

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a series of meet-and-greet events for incoming freshmen and their family members in March and April.

According to a press release, there will be a Freshman Meet and Greet in Texarkana on Tuesday, March 28, from 6PM-8PM in the Tri-State Iron & Metal Atrium on the third floor of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

The first 10 people to register for the event will receive an A&M-Texarkana T-shirt. Register today at https://tamut.eventbrite.com.

Additional meet-and-greet events will be Thursday, March 30, at 6PM at the Hyatt Place Richardson, 5101 N. George Bush Highway, Garland, Texas, and on Thursday, April 6, at 6PM at the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton, 2015 Old Minden Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana.

The meet-and-greet events provide opportunities for students to get to know other incoming freshmen, sign up for housing and discuss financial aid opportunities.

Representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, First Year Experience/Student Success, Student Life and Housing will be available to answer questions and welcome students to the A&M-Texarkana family.

Door prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes.
