Looking for a few tips and tricks for holiday decorating?

The Extended Education and Community Development office at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a series of free one-hour lunch-and-learn holiday design seminars to spread a little cheer and creativity on campus.

According to a press release, all sessions are set for 12PM in the TEXAR Room (University Center 116) on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

“Creating a Holiday Theme Inside and Out” - Don’t limit holiday décor to the inside of the house or the front porch. On Wednesday, November 29, Shelley Caraway, executive director of Extended Education and Community Development, will share ideas for bringing decorative cheer all the way from the living room to the lawn.

“Holiday Décor on a Budget” - Adding a bit of holiday cheer to the home shouldn't be an expensive endeavor. On Tuesday, December 5, LeAnne Wright, associate vice president for University Advancement, Vicki Huckabee, chief of staff, and Mark Missildine, Alumni Relations, will share ideas for making things holiday ready without breaking the bank.

“Making Live Holiday Wreaths” - Holiday decorating isn’t complete without a beautiful wreath. Join Emily Newsome, program coordinator for Extended Education and Community Development, and Caraway on Wednesday, December 6, for a step-by-step how-to on making a live holiday wreath.

“Holiday Crafts for Kids” - Kids arts and crafts provide hours of entertainment for parents and children during the hectic holiday season.  On Friday, December 8, Jennifer Willis, coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness, will present ideas for easy and fun holiday crafts for kids.
